Every super successful person started somewhere and with
Jerry Kosowsky it was with Arizona's very own KPHO-TV
where he worked on the Wallace & Ladmo show for five years!
Jerry founded Carefree Video in 1970 which became Video
Consortium in 1976. Video Consortium grew to become one
of the top five mobile production companies in the country.
Caliber Productions was a subsidiary of Video Consourtium.
In 1988 Jerry sold off Video Consourtium (mobile production
part of the business) and kept Caliber Productions with it's
tradition of quality television production.
Armed with a degree in Mass Communications from Arizona
State University, Mr. Kosowsky has worked almost 40 years,
at network levels, as a Producer, Director, Technical Consultant,
Unit Manager, Writer and additionally has trained in lighting
and in engineering with some of the foremost experts of the
industry. Either personally, or through its' affiliated companies,
Caliber earned various awards including an Emmy, several
Tellys Awards, a Newmedia Invision Award, a Billboard Award
and various charity recognition awards. These companies and
Mr. Kosowsky have been featured in both local, national and
international newspapers and magazines including Variety,
International Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wall Street
Journal, The Arizona Republic and Arizona Business Magazine.
Mr. Kosowsky was on the first Governor's Film Advisory Board
and has previously been affiliated with the Directors Guild of
America, the Producers Guild, SAG, AFTRA, I.A.T.S.E, NABET
and is currently a member of NATPE.
Many of the key executives in Los Angeles and New York have
praised Jerry's work including Mike Klausman, President of CBS
Studios, was quoted as saying,
"His knowledge of both technical operations and above-the-line
production makes him well rounded in an Entertainment world
where today everyone is specializing in one thing or another. Over
the years Jerry has probably done it all.”

Jerry has done a variety of productions including sports, sit-coms,
movies of the week, concerts, specials, corporate videos, national and
local commercials, etc. Some of these are very recognizable. Golden
Girls, Night Court, Bill Cosby in Concert, the Rose Bowl, the Super
Bowl, the World Series, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson, Jethro Tull,
Barbara Streisand... and the list goes on.
Over the past seven years Jerry has been working to build a major
motion picture and television studio in the Phoenix Metropolitan
area to be called ICON Studios. During this period Caliber Productions,
has remained active doing selected projects and endeavoring to bring
more production to Arizona. Recently Jerry produced a 90 minute
Bill Cosby Special at the Dodge Theatre and is working with NBC
and CBS on developing a Sit-Com and a reality show.
