We've all seen television programs featuring the homes
of the rich and famous and their "to die for" pools. Now
meet, Kirk Bianchi, one of the most talented artisans
in pool design today. Kirk designs and builds pools as
works of art for discriminating home owners.
WaterScapes by Bianchi Design is a Scottsdale,
Arizona based construction management firm headed
up by Kirk Bianchi. An artist since his youth, Kirk's
driving approach to design is his developed sense of
blending the indoor and outdoor space of a home, a
concept he began to fully appreciate in 1987 after having
studied in Japan.
What struck Kirk most about Japanese architecture was
that even modest dwellings were creatively integrated
with their outdoor environs. Kirk's style blurs the lines
between what is perceived to be 'indoor' and 'outdoor'
areas. The effect is an outdoor "room" - a WaterScape,
in which his clients can dine, swim, entertain, and relax
in ways that no indoor room can afford.
Needless to say, because each client’s home and outdoor environs
are so unique, each pool design that Kirk creates is also entirely
unique - a custom tailored and sophisticated work of art designed
to be lived in. Bianchi Design passionately believes that while
under construction, such works of art must be diligently supervised
by the designer himself. Such quality construction demands a
phenomenal amount of time and attention from the artisan.
Unlike larger production-driven pool companies who scramble
to install as many projects as their salespeople can sell, Bianchi
Design elevates swimming pool design and construction to an
art form, limiting the number of designs they build each year to
those that they can personally supervise and oversee. The result:

custom crafted work of art, constructed with attention to detail
