Heads Up Everybody! This means you!!! This weeks Special Guest may save your life! DermAlert, Inc., headquartered in
Tucson, Arizona, has developed innovative, patented, new technology to assist in the very early detection of new and
changed skin lesions and pigmented moles which may be melanoma
(cancerous) precursors.
Arizona has gained the unenviable title of "Skin Cancer Capital of
the United States". Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and the fastest growing
cancer in the
United States today. Centers for Disease Control now
estimate that 1 in 75 Americans will contract melanoma, up dramatically from 1 in 5,000 in
1950. Although physicians are reasonably good at recognizing a melanoma when it becomes
pathological, this aggressive disease is
most effectively treated when detected very early.
DermAlert's, new technology is an
imaging system which quickly and easily monitors changes in your skin and alerts you and/or your doctor to potentially
dangerous changes in your skin health. DermAlert, can save lives and
medical costs associated with this
expensive and frequently fatal disease.
