| Miya, a 105 lb. female Jaguar, was born at a wildlife park in Texas on April 15, 1991. She was treated poorly and was rescued by a private animal keeper, who attempted to restore her health. She joined the park at five months of age. Jaguars have extremely powerful jaws. They are the only big cat that has perfected a killing technique of penetrating the skull of their prey. Miya's favorite toy is a laundry basket. | |
